StrataVision, formerly known as Deep North, approached our brand and design agency seeking a complete transformation of their brand identity. They felt that their previous name and visuals did not effectively convey their core values or competitive strengths. Their mission was to harness AI and computer vision to optimize on-site performance and provide businesses with real-time, actionable insights. Our objective was to develop a brand identity that reflected their expertise, precision, and innovation.

Phase 1

Strategic Naming & Brand Identity Analysis

Our first step was conducting an in-depth analysis of Deep North’s existing brand identity. This involved:

Evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the current name.

Reviewing competitor brand identities to identify market positioning opportunities.

Analyzing the meaning, strengths, and weaknesses of competitor names.

Shortlisting approximately 15 potential new names based on key brand values such as precision, intelligence, innovation, efficiency, and clarity.

One of our shortlisted names, Strata IQ, became the foundation for the final selection.

"Strata" symbolizes layers of data analysis, showcasing the company’s ability to extract deep insights.

"IQ" conveys intelligence and high-level analytical expertise.

From this foundation, the name StrataVision was chosen. "Vision" highlights the company’s capability in computer vision and data-driven foresight, reinforcing its position as a leader in AI-powered analytics.

Phase 2

Visual Identity & Branding

Once the new name was finalized, we moved to the visual identity phase. We aimed to craft a modern, sophisticated brand that reflected StrataVision’s innovative approach. This included:

Logo Design

A sleek, data-inspired design that conveys precision and intelligence.

Color Palette

  • Various shades of blue to evoke trust, reliability, and professionalism.
  • A vibrant yellow accent to symbolize energy, innovation, and forward-thinking technology.

Typography & Visual Elements

  • Clean, modern fonts to ensure clarity and professionalism.
  • Ombre effects to enhance a contemporary, dynamic aesthetic.

All these elements were consolidated into comprehensive brand identity guidelines, ensuring consistency across all brand touchpoints.
